SPE Chulalongkorn University Student Chapter is the first student chapter of SPE in Thailand. The chapter has been established for more than 20 years. SPE Chulalongkorn aims to provide information and share knowledge of the oil and gas industry to SPE members and those who are interested in the industry.

Missions and Goals
Creating the society between the members and another student chapter by sharing information, knowledge and vision.
Providing opportunities to the members of the chapter by holding events which are aimed to improve the knowledge and skills of the members.
Announcing events in the oil and gas industry to members and encouraging them to participate. Besides, sharing the news about jobs and other opportunities such as scholarships to the members.

SPE Orientation and Guideline of Petroleum department (Online)
Event Time: August 2021
Participants: Students (all second-year petroleum students)
Details and Objective
Objective: To invite second-year petroleum engineering students to be SPE members.
Details: Give information about SPE to the second-year petroleum engineering students and instruct them through the membership application process, and give information about the petroleum engineering departments such as SPE scholarship, Oil company scholarship, and internship programs.
Resume Writing and & Job Interview (Online)
Event Time: October 2021
Participants: 50 students
Details and Objective
Objective: To provide a guideline about writing résumé and job interview tips for the future career.
Details: Invite a lecturer from human resources to give advice about writing a résumé and interview preparation for future job opportunities.
Essential Microsoft Excel Training (Online)
Event Time: November 2021
Participants: 60 students
Details and Objective
Objective: To improve important skills of fundamental Microsoft Excel for study and general uses.
Details: Instruct basic Excel functions for study, focusing on data calculation functions, formulas and data visualization, and give more additional assignments for practicing after class.
Career Path & Experience Sharing for the non-PE field (Online)
Event Time: January 2022
Participants: 30 students
Details and Objective
Objective: To provide advice on future careers and an overview of working in fields that are not related to the petroleum industry.
Details: Invite a non-PE field lecturer to share their work experience, career path, and how they get a job unrelated to their degree.
Advanced Microsoft Excel Training
Event Time: March 2022
Participants: 20 students
Details and Objective
Objective: To provide advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel that important for the summer internship and future job in the petroleum industry.
Details: Invite a lecturer who is experienced in the petroleum field to instruct advanced Excel functions and in-class practice, focusing on complex functions that can apply for an internship, real-world work.
PE Career Path & Experience Sharing
